Dear Southern eDNA Society Members,
The journal Animals (ISSN 2076-2615; Impact Factor 3.231) is currently running a special issue entitled “Environmental DNA for Biodiversity Assessment and Monitoring: Challenges and Perspectives”:
The submission deadline is 30 June 2023 but papers will be published as they are accepted. You may submit your manuscript anytime until the deadline. Submitted papers should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Authors are encouraged to send a copy of the manuscript abstract and tentative title to me before submitting for consideration of suitability. If suitable then an invitation to submit manuscript will be sent that offers a full fee wavier if accepted for publication. Note there is a limit of 10 fee waivers available, which will be provided to the first 10 authors that express interest in submitting a manuscript to this Special Issue.
Animals is an international open access journal devoted entirely to animal science and animal welfare, published monthly online by MDPI. It is indexed in SCIE with the latest Impact Factor of 3.231. It ranks
13/63 (Q1) in ‘Agriculture, Dairy & Animal Science’ and 16/144 (Q1) in ‘Veterinary Sciences’. Animals strives for supporting original research that provides a broad and better understanding of how humans and animals can coexist in a sustainable and healthy manner.
